Shop Of The Week and A Freebie

The shop of the week this week is....
(drum roll)

by my ever so lovely Sophie.

Honestly, she really is the loveliest!
AND she's even mentioned my little mushroom rings in her Craft Britannia interview!
(Thank you soooo much hun!)

Now, if you don't already have a quirky little piece of jewellery from Onetenzeroseven, then you need to pop over to her shop right now!
I am the proud owner of several pairs of earrings, a doggy brooch and a necklace
and I've secretly got my eye on this gorgeous necklace!

How quirky is that design!!
If you want jewellery that really stands out and will always make you smile when you catch yourself wearing it, go here.

And to get to know the wonderful lady behind the shop,
have a read of her blog

(a little photo of me showing off my gooorgeous Bird Song earrings!
I'm afraid I don't wear my earrings in normal pairs)

Ahhh, so is everyone enjoying the sun this week?
It's glorious out there!

I got my 2nd Graze Box today :)
I've been munching on a little fruit mix tub, crackers and chutney, cheesy crackers with nuts and a hot cross bun fruit and nut mix!

They've also been so lovely as to give me a little code so that all of my lovely friends can get their very own FREE box of yumminess!

Go ahead, go and grab yourself some healthy yumminess you lovely people you!

A Yummy Tuesday!

My lovely Lewis is the loveliest man ever!!

I was told a couple of days ago that I would be getting something in the post at work today.
but he wouldn't tell me what it was.

But look what arrived today!

There was a little tub of gorgeous olives with basil and garlic,
a little tube of herby crackery rice cakes and peanuts,
a little tub of 3 mini flap jacks
and another little tub labelled "Lemon Meringue Pie"
tiny little meringues, lemon sultanas and yoghurt covered peanuts

and apparently I'll be getting one every Tuesday and Thursday!

Thank you so much my lovely man!

If you'd like your own little graze box here's a link:

Arr, I'm so chuffed with my munchies, but it looks like someone else has had the nibbles too!

Shoo Feeps! Shoo!
Well at least they couldn't munch on the olives for fear that their lovely felt would get all oily!

Be warned,
I've got a feeling that the little lavender one
has become slightly addicted to meringue!

Anyways, time to go and enjoy the sunshine I think!
It's far too sunny to be stuck in here!

Howdy all!
It's Mondaaaaaay!
So how was all of your lovely weekends?
Ooo, and a belated Happy Mother's day for all of you mummies out there!

I treated my mummy to a homemade felty card and some utterly gorgeous flowers from ffflowers

Yep, that's who these beautiful little creations were for, the secrets out!
and I'm glad to report that she loved them very much!

It was such a lovely day. I got to visit my nan and gramma and give them hugs and hear stories about the war and things. It really was lovely! (Even if the public transport was abysmal that day!! - but still, walking's good for you right?)

Did you get any lovely treats?

On another note, a little more felty this time, I have loads more felty goodies to show you all!

...unfortunately I left my camera at home today, but hay, I WILL show you tomorrow, when I WILL remember to bring it with me

There are rings, bunnies, earrings, a necklace and a few more Feeps on the way!
Oh yes, but these are no ordinary Feeps, these are new Feeps!
I spotted them the other day playing around with something, and when I went over to make sure they weren't stealing any sweeties from the sweet tin, I found that they'd actually found something quite useful.

Apparently the eyes that I had given them didn't allow them to see everything all at once, which they weren't happy about at all, and they'd gone and found some even better eyes to replace them.
I have to admit, they are quite lovely.
I set about replacing them for the little Feeps, at their request! Don't fear! There was no forced eye transplant involved.

And here they are...

What do you think?

Buttons & Books

We have a new Shop of The Week!

Such beautiful buttons and jewellery!

I LOVE this button so much!!

mmmm, that is one delicious looking button!

and if you read this interview, you'll be as pleased as I am that there will hopefully be some thrown pieces in the future!
I have both fingers crossed for some egg cups!

Definitely go and take a peek!

On a completely separate note,

I've been a little obsessed with this blog it seems!

I had a little makey moment at work this morning and fished out an old 2009 diary from my draw (I don't know why I have a 2009 diary in my draw... one of the many random objects that has taken refuge in there!)

and thanks to Sophie's wonderful tutorial, I turned it into a pretty sketchbook/scrapbook for all of my little budding felty ideas!
I know it's already printed on, it being a diary an' all, but I really love that sketching over words look, so it totally suits my style, AND it recycles!
A definite plus!

I just used a very pretty artist's catalogue that came through the post for me and my oober groovy decorational scissors from HappyMemory!

Take a look at the tutorial to make your own sketchbook, just the way that you want it!

Now... off to do some more work I think!
By the looks of things on my facebook, it looks like I might be making a felted version of a band to do a stop animation for their next music video!!!

Just Something...

Frank Turner

"Oh maturity's a wrapped up package deal so it seems
And ditching teenage fantasy means ditching all your dreams
All your friends and peers and family solemnly tell you you will
Have to grow up be an adult yeah be bored and unfulfilled
Oh when no ones yet explained to me exactly what's so great
About slaving 50 years away on something that you hate
Look I'm meekly shuffling down the path of mediocrity
Well if that's your road then take it but it's not the road for me

You know when something just really nags at you and will always sneak into your mind when you're not paying attention?

I love being reminded that there's so much more out there to do!
I've just gotta get off my butt and do it

Eeeeey, I think I've fallen in love!

I may have ordered them already, but they're not for me! Honest!

I can't wait to see if a certain someone likes them!

Aren't they just beautiful though?
I really was tempted to buy the kit.
Maybe if I ask Lewis super nicely....

pwetty pweeeze!

A Day By The Sea

Yesterday was such a lovely day!
I've been missing the sea for ages, so guess where me and Lewis went to on our day off together?

and why is it that holidays seem to all be about food?
There was a trip to the lovely cupcake shop, choccy woccy doo dah, fish and chips and of course a beer on the pier!
Unfortunately the smoked fish shop was closed though

mmmmmm, that cake was amazing!
Lime and courgette! I had a lemongrass tea with it and would go all the way back to Brighton just to have it again!

Mmmm *sigh* maybe I'll be able to get Lewis to come with me again soon, he had a whale of a time!

Now, something much more beautiful than Lewis stuffing his face with seaside food:

Have you taken a peek at this shop yet?

Such lovely work from our Shop Of The Week!

I love this piece

Take a little read while you're munching your lunch of this lovely interview on our blog
and then pop along to her shop to see all of her wonderful work!

Hope you're all having a lovely day

This Weekend...

Guess what I was up to this weekend?

hehe, a really pathetic attempt at making peppermint creams!
I know all of you wonderful bakers out there will laugh at my attempt, but I had so much fun, turning back into a child again, I don't think I'd notice anyone laughing in the background...

Oh and I have to show you all this photo!

This was left for me in my feedback section of my Etsy shop!
I am so so happy that my little felty turtle has found such a lovely home

I love to hear how my little creations are getting on in their new homes.
If you have any yourself, feel free to send them to me
I'd love to make a little mood board of what antics they're all up to now!

Peppermint cream anyone?
